We provide visa assistance to non-Chinese citizens who travel to China for tourism (L visa), business (F visa), work (Z visa), study (X visa), etc.

Required Documents:

  • A Visa Service Request Form completed and legibly filled out with your original signature. Use one form per family.
  • A Visa Application Form completely and legibly filled out with your original signature. Use one form per traveler.
  • One passport photo of each traveler (front-face, 2X2, in color). Do not cut your photo to fit the small box on the form.
  • Current passport of each traveler. Each passport must be signed by the holder. Parents may sign on behalf of their minor children. It must have at least 6 months of validity remaining if you are applying for a single or double entry visa (1 year of validity or longer if you are applying for a multiple entry visa) with at least one blank visa page in it.
  • Letter of profession waiver. If you are applying for a tourist visa and your current occupation (Question 1.14) is (or appears to be) related to media (journalism, TV, film, radio, press, video, photography, writing, editing, etc.), religious organization (clergy, pastor, etc.), or legal field (attorney, etc.), please attach a signed letter stating that your trip to China will be purely for tourism and won’t involve your job or profession and that you will not perform any action that is inconsistent with being a tourist on this trip.
  • An applicant who was born in China is required to submit his/her Chinese passport or evidence of a previously issued Chinese visa.
  • Other additional required documents may be required if 1) you are applying for a multiple entry visa, 2) you are applying for a non-tourist visa (i.e. business, work, study, etc.), 3) you are a child of Chinese decent who was born in the USA, or 4) you are not a U.S. citizen but a legal resident (green card holder).   • Return Shipping and Handling Fee: $20.00 per packet
    Please add a shipping and handling fee of $20.00 per packet for returning the passports with visas from the consulate. Or, you may provide your own self addressed prepaid return envelop in lieu of this return shipping fee. Acceptable forms of return mailing include FedEx, UPS or DHL with your account number pre-filled. USPS Express mail with sufficient postage stamps (not metered postage) is also accepted.
  • All of the above fees are per applicant. Fees are subject to change without notice.
  • Group Discount: We offer 10% off the above Service Fee for groups of 5-9 visas and 15% off for groups of 10 or more visas. There is no group discount on the consulate fee.
  • Per requirement by the Chinese Embassy/Consulates, the one-day rush processing service is for death in the family, illness or other emergency only.

Commonly Asked Questions About the Form:

  • Question 1.3 Chinese Name: Fill in your current or former Chinese name in Chinese characters, (if you are of Chinese decent).
  • Question 1.5 Other or Former Name: Fill in any other former name you have had (maiden name, alias, etc.)
  • Question 1.14 Your Current Occupations(s): Please specify your occupation if it is not listed. If you are applying for a tourist visa and your current occupation is (or appears to be) related to media (journalism, TV, film, radio, press, video, photography, writing, editing, etc.), religious organization (clergy, pastor, etc.), or legal field (attorney, etc.), please attach a signed letter stating that your trip to China will be purely for tourism and won't involve your job or profession and that you will not perform any action that is inconsistent with being a tourist on this trip.
  • Question 2.1 Major Purpose(s) of Your Visit(s) to China: If you are going to China on a homeland tour which includes a visit to an orphanage, the major purpose of your trip is still tourism.
  • Questions 4.7-4.10 Name, phone, address and e-mail of the inviter, contact or relative in China: You may leave these blank if you are applying for a tourist visa. If you are going to China for business, work, or study, please fill in the information about your inviter and provide a letter of invitation, appointment, etc.

Notes and Disclaimers:

  • Usually, the validity of a Single Entry visa is 3 months and the validity of a Double Entry visa is 6 months from the date of issuance. Unless specified on the application form and approved by the consular officer, the Duration of Stay is 30 days.
  • The Validity, Duration of Stay, and Number of Entries of the visa are issued at the discretion of the Consular Officers, whose decisions are based on the laws and regulations of China. The Consular Officers have the authority to refuse any visa applications inconsistent with Chinese laws and regulations, or revoke issued visas.
  • According to the Chinese Embassy/Consulates, any person suffering from mental disorder, leprosy, AIDS, venereal diseases, contagious tuberculosis or other such infectious diseases shall not be permitted to enter China.
  • The Chinese Embassy/Consulates are closed for certain Chinese holidays in addition to the American public holidays. Please allow extra time for visa processing during such time.
  • To ensure that the visa application is processed in time for travel, please apply at least one month prior to your departure.
  • To use our visa service, the applicant agrees not to hold Always and Forever Adoption Homeland Tours, China Passion Cultural Services or any of our agents and representatives responsible and liable if the Chinese Embassy/Consulates refuses to issue a visa for any reason.
  • In the event that the Chinese Embassy/Consulate refuses to issue a visa due to incomplete application documentation or for any other reasons, the visa service fee charged by Always and Forever Adoption Homeland Tours is not refundable. If an applicant wishes to reapply for the visa, another visa service fee is required along with the new visa fee and applicable shipping fees.
  • To use our visa service, the applicant agrees not to hold Always and Forever Adoption Homeland Tours, China Passion Cultural Services or any of our agents and representatives responsible and liable for loss of documents caused by events beyond our control.
